A lettings agent claims the police have failed to adequately investigate two attacks on his staff.

Employees of Lovett International at Boscombe in Dorset were apparently left terrified after an unknown man entered the office during working hours, shouted obscenities at staff and swept items from a desk on to the floor. The same individual is believed to have made a similar attack two weeks earlier.

The firm allegedly has good CCTV footage of the attack but the police have, according to the agency, shown little interest. Only when chief executive Maximillian De Kment went to the local press did the police respond, a week later he says.

A police spokesman told the Dorset Daily Echo that the incident was mistakenly classified as a low priority incident.

Meanwhile one member of staff now locks the door of the office during working hours, says De Kment, who fears any future attack may have worse consequences.
