Scott Castle Lettings has become what may be the first agency to achieve the new UKALA Agency Accreditation.

The UK Association of Letting Agents is a non-profit trade association and UKALA Agency Accreditation is a national scheme based on continued professional development for property managers with built in safeguards such as client money protection and independent redress which are included in UKALA membership.

The scheme claims to offer greater consistency in property management and provides quality assurance for landlords, tenants and local authorities at a time when many bodies are looking to accreditation to improve all aspects of rental standards. UKALA Agency Accreditation is also recognised by the Mayor of London's London Rental Standard.

Scott Castle manages some 500 rental units in Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and surrounding areas.

UKALA members enjoy discounted rates on courses jointly organised with the National Landlords Association.
