The National Federation of Property Professionals awarding body has launched a new qualification aimed at the lettings sector in Scotland.

The NFOPP 'Technical Award in Residential Inventory Management & Practice - Scotland' is an introductory qualification for candidates wanting to gain or improve existing knowledge in the key areas across Inventory Practice and will include Scottish law.

The qualification syllabus is divided into four units:

Unit 1 - General Law, Health, Safety and Security in Relation to Residential Inventory Management & Practice (Scotland) - (SRIMP1) - (this unit is taken from the Technical Award in Residential Letting & Property Management Scotland - once achieved this would count towards the Technical Award in Residential Letting & Property Management Scotland; those who hold this unit in the Residential Letting Scotland qualification would be exempt from this unit);

Unit 2 - Legal Aspects of Residential Inventory Management & Practice (Scotland) (SRIMP2);

Unit 3 - Residential Letting & Property Management (SRIMP3);

Unit 4 - Residential Inventory Management & Practice (SRIMP4).

NFOPP Student Members or Full Members can purchase study materials at the discounted rate of £140, otherwise it will be £240.
