What's your role at LCA Recruitment I have recently been appointed as the new Recruitment Manager for the agency, based in the Central London branch in Bank.
What's your property background
I ran my own successful land and property development business for ten years in Hertfordshire, working with clients in the UK, and internationally. Previous to that, I was a recruitment consultant, so now I can enjoy the best of both worlds, combining my love of property and recruitment.
What are your priorities for the business
I would really like to continue LCA's growth - the agency has enjoyed a lot of success since opening of the new office in Central London. Although it is relatively new territory, I believe our location in Bank will allow us to offer a better service for London-based clients and candidates, and tap into the talent pool in the City.
Recruitment is a tough business - why specialise in just one sector
The property sector is a very significant market in the UK, and offers a variety of employment opportunities for people at all levels. LCA has a business model that works very effectively, and we do not and will not deviate from that. We are focussed solely on property recruitment - we have the expertise and understanding of what is required by our clients, and can recognise the key skills and attributes in our candidates to be able to place them with the right company at the right time.
What makes your agency different
Quite simply, our high standards and our willingness to go above and beyond all expectations. All our staff are fully trained, and we also offer all of our candidates training, and as much assistance and support as they need to help them land a job. Above all, we operate with integrity, and we believe that our candidates and clients recognise and respect that. And the proof that we really are different Our clients nominated us for an ESTA award this year, the first time a recruitment agency has ever been recognised at the ESTA's in its ten year history - that tells us that we are getting it right, and we will continue to do so.
