The all-new Property Business Show, on April 19 and 20 at London’s ExCeL, is a must for anyone who would like to know more about the franchise route.

A seminar, ‘Start or grow your property business via a franchise’, will be of interest to anyone thinking of starting up and running their own business, or to existing agents wanting to know more about franchising.

As well as the seminar, there is a Property Franchise Zone at the show, where exhibitors will include the recently AIM-listed Belvoir, plus Estates Direct, Alex Clark and .

For letting agents, several seminars and debates are already proving extremely popular: ‘Checking in and Checking out: Inventories Debated’, and ‘Tenant Referencing – the future’.

On the second day of the show, Mike Morgan, head of adjudication at the TDS, will be discussing deposits, disputes and damages.

Ombudsman Christopher Hamer will be looking into his notebook to talk about avoiding and dealing with disputes, while ARLA’s Ian Potter will discuss the future challenges for the private rented sector.

The Property Business Show is running alongside the well-established Property Investor Show.

Entry to the show, and to all the seminars and debates, is completely free, but pre-registration is strongly advised and you can book to attend places at the session online.
