Take the stress out of summer: Let ARPM Inventories lend a helping hand whilst your Clerk is on holiday

“During the busy summer months, it is not uncommon for local Inventory Clerks to take annual leave. Only yesterday, I was speaking to one Clerk who said that he was taking five weeks holiday over July/August and had given his Clients a week’s notice of the same; in my opinion this was a little short notice and I would imagine it would have left the vast majority of his Clients frantically searching for someone else to cover their work. Naturally, most local Inventory Clerks give their Clients a lot more notice than this when taking extended holiday, however, if they cannot recommend someone to cover in their absence, the result is still the same – the agent is left to find someone else to cover their work, which can be extremely time consuming.
At ARPM Inventories we work hard to ensure that our Clients are not left in the situation where we are cancelling or declining work during peak and seasonal periods, as we realise that it is simply not good business practice to let our Clients down in this manner and we understand the ramifications of the same. As a nationwide provider, we have Clerks located throughout the UK who we can call upon, if necessary, to work outside of their ‘normal area’ in order to ensure that our Clients bookings are honoured. Given that all Reports completed by our Clerks follow the same format and contain the same level of detail, it literally makes no difference which Clerk completes a Report and the Client maintains that all important consistency.
We would welcome the opportunity of providing a service to any lettings business whom is due to be without coverage during the Summer months. It goes without saying that we would of course like to develop a relationship which expands passed the school holiday period, but we do not seek to tie potential Clients into exclusivity contracts therefore allowing them to make their own decision as to whether the service which we have provided to them is something that they would like to continue with on a more regular basis”.
