Chain's latest agency acquisition "just first of many more"

Connells has acquired the rights to the Crawley letting book previously management by Platinum Estates.

This is part of what Connells calls a programme of planned branch openings and acquisitions across the UK as the Group continues an ambitious programme to double the size of its lettings network.

Platinum Estates, which is now trading as Fox & Sons, is an independent lettings and property management agency based in Crawley. Platinum Estates continues to trade in Crawley in a sales capacity.

Connells, which already has two long-established branches in the town, says it is now looking to make similar acquisitions across the UK in 2015.

This acquisition of an established lettings book in Crawley is part of a much wider programme for our UK lettings network says Stephen Nation, Connels' group lettings managing director.

It's no secret that the lettings market has been growing hugely in recent years and despite the recent revival in property sales the lettings market shows no sign of slowing down and we've seen demand from landlords and tenants alike across the UK increasing year on year.

Connells says it is open to new opportunities to acquire lettings businesses across the UK and is urging owners to get in touch if they would like to discuss this further.
