Property management company, Lomond Capital has completed its third acquisition in Manchester by snapping up the city centre rental agency Allison & Co. Lomond now has 2,300 properties in the city under its management.

Last September Lomond Capital acquired Thornley Groves, one of north west England's best known agencies and the firm promises still more acquisitions in the future, specifying Leeds and Birmingham as new target locations.

Manchester has a very attractive property market with the largest private rental sector outside London says Stuart Pender, chief executive of Lomond Capital.

Lomond now operates six estate and letting agent brands in three major UK cities. Since it was set up in 2010 it has undertaken 16 acquisitions and now employs over 250 staff, manages over 7,000 residential properties worth over £1.5 billion and sells over £65 million worth of residential units every year.
