Lettings and sales agency Sharman Quinney has acquired Gilbert & Thomas Estate Agents.
This takes Sharman Quinney’s network total to 20 branches across Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and now Rutland.
Gilbert & Thomas was an independent covering the county of Rutland and surrounding areas from its offices in Oakham and Uppingham. It will continue to trade under its existing brand with founder and managing director Vaughan Gilbert remaining in charge of operations.
Sharman Quinney, itself acquired by Connells over 10 years ago, says it remains open to approaches from existing sales or lettings businesses looking to sell or who wish to grow as part of a wider group.
