Connells beefs up Barnard Marcus with plan for six new lettings offices

Todays other news

Connells Group says it wants an additional six lettings offices to add to its Barnard Marcus brand in London this year.

It says it is deploying Nik Madan, the group’s Lettings Development Director, to drive the Barnard Marcus brand growth.

Barnard Marcus – which is formally part of the Sequence UK network and a subsidiary of Connells Group – is one of the largest agencies in London with 39 branches, all but six handling lettings.

Madan, who is ARLA’s president-elect and has over 18 years experience – mostly in central London – joined Connells Group in 2014 to spearhead the Group’s lettings expansion programme.

This has included opening 114 branches nationwide over the past two years with a further 50 or so planned for 2016.

“As well as growing the lettings business across the Connells Group, there will be a focus on taking the already successful Barnard Marcus lettings offering and turning it into the ‘go-to’ lettings agent in London and Surrey. My aim will be to make the brand synonymous with high quality service and one where we always work in the client’s best interests” explains Madan.
