The operators of the Gas Safe registration scheme and a pivate rental sector lettings organisation are joining forces to promote gas awareness amongst agents, landlords and tenants.
The Guild of Letting and Management’s chief executive Susie Crolla says compliance is at the forefront of the actions of many diligent letting agents, who will benefit from hearing more from the organisation behind the Gas Safe Register.
“Gas Safe Register is the official list of gas engineers who are qualified to work safely and legally on gas appliances. By law, all gas engineers must be on the Gas Safe Register” explains GSR stakeholder manager Abrar Hussain Aziz.
“It has replaced CORGI. Only use a Gas Safe registered engineer to fit, fix or service your appliances and always check the engineer’s Gas Safe Register ID card” he says.
