Connells Residential Lettings has announced three new lettings area managers to grow its central division offering, covering Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

These appointments come in quick succession of Mark Alvis’ recent promotion to area lettings director for the central region, which the firm says reflects its “ambitious lettings expansion plans and the strength of the current lettings market.”

Bill Burn, Daniel McCarthy and Nicholas Browne take up their roles with immediate effect, bringing a combined 48 years’ experience in the industry.

Burn joins from Connells Group subsidiary Sequence to oversee lettings across Wiltshire, Berkshire and Hertfordshire; McCarthy is charged with developing the lettings market in and around Oxford;  Browne will drive the business in Bedfordshire and east Hertfordshire, with a focus on the growing market in Luton.

Meanwhile it has been announced that Greg Young, managing director of Intercounty Estate Agents, has been promoted to managing director of LSLi.

This is the part of LSL Property Services that provides growth, development and exit opportunities for independent letting and estate agents; it currently has nine estate agency brands under its banner, including Intercounty, and operates from 65 offices in and around Greater London and the Home Counties.

Young was an original founder of Intercounty, which was the first business acquired by LSLi in 2007.
