The Property Redress Scheme (PRS) has announced the details of a workshop for Welsh letting agents, taking place in July.

The event will have a focus on the Rent Smart Wales scheme, being a member of which becomes compulsory for agents from the Autumn.

There will also be a number of presentations on other industry topics.

Speakers will include Paul Shamplina of Landlord Action, who will explain how agents can retain landlords when a tenancy goes wrong, and Sean Hooker, head of redress at the PRS, who will cover compliance.

There will also be presentations from Suzy Hershman, head of dispute resolution at mydeposits and Nick Lyons from inventory firm No Letting Go.

The event takes place on Thursday July 7 in Cardiff and you can find more details on the PRS website.
