Agency holds seminars on impact of Brexit and buy to let tax changes

Todays other news

Another lettings agency has decided to stage a seminar for landlords to explain what Brexit and recent tax changes mean for the rental sector.

Angus-based agency Wardhaugh Property is to hold a series of events, alongside EQ Accountants LLP, to explain implications of recent legislative and tax changes, as well as advise on the impact of Brexit.

The first seminar – this evening in Forfar – will be followed by two more next week.

Topics to be discussed include stamp duty on second homes, changes to buy to let mortgage interest relief, and the tightening up of lending to landlords as result of new recommendations from the Prudential Regulation Authority.

Places at the events can be booked through Wardhaugh’s website.

Last month we reported on free events being organised by SafeDeposits Scotland.
