Cambridge-based agency Bidwells is expanding its lettings division.
The lettings team has grown from eight to 10 professionals thanks to the recent new appointments of Alex Bloxham as lettings manager and James Munro as lettings negotiator. Lucy Figg has also been promoted to Assistant Lettings Manager.
Andrew Tucker, a partner of the residential division of Bidwells, who previously headed up the lettings team, is now moving to work with the residential sales team.
"Thanks to the continuing ‘Cambridge Phenomenon’ we are still seeing unprecedented growth within the residential and new homes stock in the city. With more homes coming onto the market, a growing population and employment opportunities, we are seeing even more people wanting to relocate and work in the city” says Bloxham, former lettings manager at Cheffins.
"The growing need for rental properties is largely due to the transient nature of those people who relocate to Cambridge for work and also the continued strength of the investment market. As a result of this our lettings service has grown in volume considerably."
Some of the services provided by the lettings team include working with private investors, investment companies and colleges; they currently let and manage a substantial portfolio of residential properties in and around Cambridge.
