The Association of Residential Letting Agents has started work on a TV advertisement to highlight the importance of landlords instructing agents.

The campaign, which is likely to see TV ads appearing from early September onwards, highlights the importance of using an agent offering Propertymark Protection.

A statement from ARLA says planning for the campaign has taken several months, “with selection of a creative agency headed up by a former managing director of global advertising agency Publicis selected through a pitch process earlier in the year.”

A media buying agency has been employed “to ensure that the campaign has the widest possible reach within the target groups for residential sales and lettings” and the advertisements will appear on a range of platforms.

Members from across the ARLA Propertymark organisation have taken part in filming for the TV ad, “although all of those involved have been sworn to secrecy on the exact content until the campaign begins to air in early September.”
