A London letting agency is opening a new branch thanks to continued high demand from EU nationals looking for rental property in the capital.

Breteuil Immobilier, which currently has an office in Fulham, is set to open a new branch in Parsons Green.

The firm says it is also planning to open a third branch in either Notting Hill or High Street Kensington to cater for demand from overseas tenants.

“Young professionals, families and students are keen to take advantage of work and lifestyle opportunities in London, with many continuing to move here from Paris,” Arsene Colarossi, Breteuil Immobilier’s managing director told the Express.

“Brexit is causing some uncertainty but things are not too good in France right now either. We expect UK demand to grow once the political uncertainty is over.”

Colarossi says speculation about EU citizens returning home following last year’s vote to leave the European Union has simply ‘not come true’.
