Country agency that opened surprise London office names lettings chief

Humberts, the country agency which raised eyebrows earlier this year by announcing it was to open an office in prime central London, has now appointed a lettings manager to join its sales team at the heart of the capital.

Sam Wright will be the lettings manager in the Mayfair branch of Humberts, having previously held a similar post in Kensington for Harrods Estates.

“This is the second time I have overseen the launch of a new lettings department and I am very excited to manage and expand Humberts Mayfair’s lettings portfolio as well as deliver exceptional services to landlords and tenants” says Wright.

David Adams - the former John Taylor London agency chief who became director at Humberts Mayfair in the spring - says: “We have seen a large increase in enquiries for both short and long term rentals from people moving here from abroad as a result of the favourable currency. There’s also been a rise in demand from investors looking for buy to lets.”

Humberts’ lettings operations across its London and country network consists of a traditional offering (called Humberts Lettings), available in current branch locations, and online (Humberts Lettings Direct), accessible nationwide, allowing landlords to rent out their properties solely online.
