Wales’ largest agency, Peter Alan, has acquired Roberts & Co Property Management Limited, a Newport company that manages 800 units.

The acquisition by Peter Alan – part of the Connells Group – will see Roberts’ team of 17 retained and, over the coming weeks, the business will begin to trade under the Peter Alan name.

The Roberts & Co portfolio will continue to be managed by the existing team in central Newport with support from the local Peter Alan branches.

“We are really pleased to have acquired Roberts & Co’s lettings and property management business which allows us the opportunity to further enhance an already successful business and work with many talented individuals,” says Andrew Barry, Peter Alan managing director.

“This acquisition is a good fit for our expansion plans and perfectly complements our current branch network. We look forward to welcoming the Roberts lettings team to Peter Alan and continuing to build our market leading position in South Wales.”

Peter Alan says it remains open to new opportunities “to acquire existing sales or lettings business across South Wales”and is keen to hear from business owners looking to sell, or who wish to grow, as part of a wider group.
