The Oxford franchisee of Martin & Co has acquired the nearby Kidlington office of independent local agency Oliver James.

This takes the number of managed properties on Martin & Co Oxford’s books up to 443.

Oliver James Kidlington will be re-branded as Martin & Co, with its portfolio and existing team of six fully incorporated into the agency’s existing operation.

“We’re delighted to be announcing this deal and to have acquired an agency with a reputation for delivering outstanding customer service to the people of Kidlington and surrounding areas,” says Martin & Co Oxford franchisee Bill Cooper.

Sharon Titchmarsh, acquisitions consultant for The Property Franchise Group – which has Martin & Co as one of its brands – says: “We are continuing to assist the group with acquiring businesses and there is funding available to the franchisees to be able to do this.”

Martin & Co now has 185 offices across the UK.
