Another acquisition by Leaders Romans Group – the fifth in six weeks

Todays other news

The Leaders Romans Group has announced its fifth acquisition in just six weeks after completing the purchase of South & Co in Crewe.

The lettings, property management and sales business, which manages more than 500 properties across Crewe and the surrounding area, will become part of the Leaders network.

It comes within weeks of the Leaders Romans Group acquiring Penyards Property Management in Winchester, Prescott Hall in Chester, City Lettings in Norwich and Bath Property Letting in Bath.

The flurry of activity underlines, in the company’s own words, “its ambitious growth strategy and commitment to regional markets across the country.”

Matthew Light, group acquisitions director at the Leaders Romans Group, says: “Recent weeks have seen us expand through several acquisitions, adding several new portfolios and branches in key markets.

“We are delighted to be able to add a presence in Crewe to our Leaders network, which now spans 124 branches nationwide. South & Co is one of the town’s most respected, successful and established property experts and we look forward to building on its excellent reputation by delivering even more to customers through our selection of sales and lettings services.

“It is also pleasing that all of South & Co’s team have chosen to remain in their roles as the branch begins life as Leaders and I know they will continue to provide the best service to landlords, sellers, buyers and tenants in Crewe.”

South & Co was owned by Jonathan South and his partner Angela Greenland; they say they have chosen to sell in order to focus on other business interests.
