Lenwell Property Services, a five-office lettings agency in the Home Counties, is spreading its wings into Hertfordshire with the acquisition of the four-office independent, Acorn Residential Sales and Lettings.
Lenwell - a multi award winner of the Times and Sunday Times Lettings Agency of the Year Awards - already operates in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire.
The acquisition will see it move into Hitchin, Stevenage and Biggleswade as well as increasing its offering in Luton.
Lenwell will bring all Acorn landlords and tenants into its portfolio.
"We are delighted that this acquisition has progressed so smoothly. To ensure there is no disruption to the excellent service Acorn landlords and tenants have received to date, all contact information with the existing offices will remain the same for the initial handover period" explains Lenwell managing director Robert Wellstead.
"Hertfordshire is an area we have always been interested in having a presence - it was simply a question of waiting for the right opportunity to come along. Acorn has built up a strong presence in Hertfordshire - with a core following of both landlords and tenants, and we saw it as being the perfect fit for the Lenwell business" he continues.
