A poll for Moneywise magazine and website suggests over three quarters of respondents would be willing to use an online estate or letting agent.
The personal finance publication received 497 responses:
- 10 per cent said they had already used an online estate agent to sell or let a property;
- two per cent had already used an online agent to buy a property;
- 65 per cent said they had not used an online estate agent before but they would consider it in future for renting, buying and selling;
- some 23 per cent said they would not even consider using an online agent over a traditional agent for buying or selling.
