Kay & Co, Carter Jonas and Druce have been appointed as joint sole letting agent for the entire Howard de Walden Estate.
The move allows more focussed marketing and a greater sense of exclusivity for the Estate’s properties, which in recent years have been handled by a wider range of agencies.
The 92 acre estate holds the freehold to some 850 residential and commercial properties in the Marylebone area of London, and is widely credited with helping the area become more attractive and increasingly popular with residents and visitors in recent years.
“The agents we chose to partner with are carefully considered on the basis that they will be able to work with the Estate from first point of contact to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction. This is just one of the ways we achieve our goals and maintain Marylebone as a much sought-after area to live in the capital” says Tracey Hartley, Director of Residential at the estate.
“Having acted for The Estate for the past 18 years we have an extensive knowledge of both it and Marylebone, having had our office in the area 1982 and as such we bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. The Estate has worked hard to transform Marylebone beyond all recognition and we are delighted to be continuing our partnership with them going forward” explains Martin Bikhit, managing director of Kay & Co.
Simon Hedley, Director at Druce, Marylebone says: “For us, representing the Estate on this project is hugely satisfying and rewarding. For tenants, the portfolio contains exceptional property choices and the satisfaction knowing one of the UK’s finest landlords will be on hand to assist during your stay.”
Andrew Walker, partner at Carter Jonas adds: “Our expertise is in matching them up with high quality tenants, many of whom are relocating to London from abroad and are introduced by our Corporate Services team. We are excited to play our part in their continued growth of and investment in Marylebone, one of the most desirable areas of Prime Central London.”
