Renters keen to experience new areas – key moving reasons revealed

A new study has revealed that the key reason tenants move between rental properties is to experience a different area.

This is followed by wanting a more spacious home. Other popular reasons included properties in poor condition, the cost of renting and not being able to keep a pet.

In addition, a small number of tenants cited not getting on with their landlord, other tenants or neighbours, saving up for their own home and landlords selling up as their reasons for moving.

The study was carried out earlier this month by Cover4LetProperty.
