A TV station has gone public on revealing what it calls “the world’s worst lettings agency” – but it may not be quite what it seems.

A series being aired from next Wednesday evening onwards on Channel 4 gives the lowdown on the shocking antics going on at the Michael & Eagle agency in London, and especially its lead agent Stath.

Here’s the storyline as revealed to Letting Agent Today by Channel 4’s press office:

“Stath is an incompetent Greek-Cypriot lettings agent, working for his dad at the family business Michael & Eagle. Stath’s hapless sister Sophie dreams of being a professional dancer, but holds a candle for the family’s favourite employee, nervous negotiator Al.

“While Stath struggles not to be outshone by Michael & Eagle’s top agent, ruthlessly ambitious Carole, the company struggles against the threat of Smethwicks – the slick, high-end estate agents next door.”

We’ll get our apologies in first and if by any chance there’s any agency operating under the same names, please contact Channel 4 and not ourselves – but it’s understandable that any real life agency would be upset if it’s ever confused with these fictional characters, as you will appreciate when you see the video below.

Everyone at Letting Agent Today thought this was a very funny trailer and we’re looking forward to seeing the show which starts on Wednesday June 27 on Channel 4 at 10pm.
