PropTech company PayProp has been announced as the sponsor of the ESTAS People Awards category for 2019.

The ESTAS is a customer feedback platform and award scheme for property professionals in the UK, and has The People Award as a special category which puts the spotlight on individual staff who have consistently gone the extra mile to help clients.

Just 25 members of staff are shortlisted each year from a pool of thousands of employees who work for firms taking part in the competition.

Nominations are based on feedback The ESTAS organisers receive from the 40,000-plus customers who will complete an ESTAS online survey this year.

Just five of those shortlisted will be given a Highly Commended People Award trophy, presented by Neil Cobbold, chief operating officer of PayProp UK, which is an automated rental payment platform.

“The People Awards is the perfect fit for PayProp. Clients who use our platform quickly come to realise that, while the technology is impressive, it’s the people behind our platform that really make PayProp a success” says Cobbold.

“We’re very happy to be sponsoring this important category that celebrates the human element of the property industry, something that the right technology partners can help facilitate” he adds.

Simon Brown, founder of The ESTAS Group, says: “PropTech firms like PayProp play a huge role in helping agents deliver great service. This category, in particular, highlights that the estate and letting agent industry is a people business and always will be.”

The 2019 ESTAS Estate and Letting Agent Awards will take place on Friday May 10 in the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
