As 2018 ticks away and 2019 beckons, it’s time for everyone at Letting Agent Today to wish you, your family and your business all success in the New Year and beyond.

It’s tempting to say that the next 12 months could hardly be more momentous than the past year where we saw three different housing ministers, the end of three major online agencies, struggling Countrywide lose its chief executive but still not regain its past glories, OnTheMarket float on the stock market and Zoopla be snapped up by an American company…and on and on.

Surely that dramatic year cannot be repeated? Well, yes – it probably will be even more nail-biting in 2019, with the B-word pre-occupying policy makers as well as new legislation on agents’ fees and client protection likely in the spring, and recommendations on agency training put to MPs in the summer.

It’s non-stop news these days, and Letting Agent Today will in the future – as now – be giving you updates every weekday morning and in between as the big stories break.

So thanks for your loyal readership in 2018, and onwards to an even more exciting 2019.

We are back with our first scheduled news of the year on January 2. Until then, have a good one…
