Leaders announces 10th acquisition in just nine months

Leaders has completed its 10th acquisition in the last nine months.

It has snapped up Temples agency which gives it new branches in Northwich and Nantwich, as well as a lettings portfolio in Chester.

The acquisition will see the company expand into two new towns while merging the Chester portfolio into its existing branches in the city.

Kevin Swire and Tony Snead, owners of the former Temples branch in Chester, will remain with Leaders to take up managerial roles in the company’s Chester and Nantwich branches respectively.

All the existing Temples employees will also remain in place as their branches start life as Leaders, while Richard Prescott – the former owner of Prescott Hall, which was acquired by Leaders in October – will be manager at the new Leaders office in Northwich.

Matthew Light, Group Acquisitions Director at the Leaders Romans Group, says: “This deal is further evidence of our commitment to growth in the north-west and will complement our current branches in Chester, Warrington, Altrincham, Manchester, Crewe and Stoke-on-Trent.

“Our ongoing expansion is a sign of our confidence in the market and the success of our existing branch network. We remain committed to growth and are always interested to hear from business owners thinking of selling up.”

The Leaders Romans Group has over 150 branches, 50,000 rental properties under management and annual revenues in excess of £115 million. The group is backed by private equity firm Bowmark Capital.
