East Midlands estate and lettings agency John German has revealed that it’s snapped up an independent based in Derby – Sowter & Brown.

The move increases the John German branch network to 10 offices across the Midlands and the acquisitions means the company can now offer both sales as well as letting expertise from the Derby office.

The office’s existing team of Amanda Sowter and Chris Brown will continue to provide advice to clients.

“This is a great move for both companies” explains Chris Brown, cited as one of the ‘Inspirational 250’ people in the city by the Derby Telegraph. “It gives us a great opportunity to expand and develop our business services in line with the John German network.”

Phil Sandbach, director of John German adds: “This is an important acquisition for us as it knits together our existing office network, particularly for Burton and Ashbourne.”
