Student search platform launches automated feed for letting agents

Todays other news

A student accommodation search engine is introducing an automated feeds service for letting agents and landlords with large property portfolios.

The service, from the Accommodation For Students platform, enables agents to connect with a pool of potential student tenants; until now agents and landlords have had to upload properties manually and login to deactivate them when they were no longer available.

The new feed will enable them to upload multiple properties in any format in real time.

Simon Thompson, the platform’s director, says: “We’ve been working on launching this service for a very long time, but previous attempts had to be taken offline because they were not functioning correctly.  It’s also really good news for the three million students that visit the AFS portal every year because they know that the property they are looking at is the most up to date inventory of available properties.”

The AFS feeds service is city based, with agents and landlords able to operate a city specific account.
