Some observers think it may be unwise for agencies to reveal too many details of perks for staff but Connells has never been shy of letting people know how it treats high achievers.

Now it’s revealed that nearly 100 so-called Top Achievers from across Connells Group’s Sequence and Connells Residential agency networks have recently enjoyed an all-expenses paid trip to Barcelona.

The trip, hosted by Connells Group estate agency chief executive David Plumtree, recognises those who have generated outstanding results through continued commitment and excellence in their role.

The trip consisted of a two-night stay in a five-star hotel with a packed itinerary of activities, including sailing, watersports, golf, spa treatments and a visit to the city’s iconic unfinished church La Sagrada Familia.

There was also a champagne reception and gala dinner.

“The Top Achievers trip has become a highlight in our calendar and it gives us an opportunity to say thank you to colleagues who have gone above and beyond to achieve fantastic results in their areas” says Plumtree.

“Our staff are at the centre of everything we do so it is only right that we celebrate the talent within our business and reward hard work through the best and most memorable experiences.”

Barcelona sounds a fantastic perk but some may say their predecessors have had even more glamorous benefits – in the past, Connells has held trips to Las Vegas, Dubai, Monte Carlo and New York.
