Another independent agency acquired by Leaders Romans Group

Todays other news

The Leaders Romans Group has acquired yet another independent agency – this time it is Essex and Suffolk Lettings.

Based in Colchester, the single branch lettings agency currently manages over 300 tenancies, mostly in the town.

The entire portfolio will transfer to Leaders’ managed service, doubling the brand’s local market share.

Leaders will also take over all existing employees; Essex and Sussex Lettings’ chief, Jane Whiteman, will stay involved in the company during the takeover but will then retire from the industry.

The existing Essex and Suffolk Lettings office will close and all employees will relocate to Leaders’ established office nearby.

Matthew Light, group acquisitions director at LRG, comments: “We are thrilled to welcome such a strong portfolio into the Leaders fold, and even more so to be welcoming Essex and Suffolk’s existing staff force.

“We are confident that business will resume as normal for our acquired landlords and that they will continue to benefit from the excellent customer service that they have come to know and expect of the Essex and Suffolk Lettings team.”

The Leaders Romans Group has now completed on over 150 acquisitions, and Light adds: “If you are considering selling your property services business, the Leaders Romans Group adopts a hands-on approach to help business owners achieve their objectives.”
