Agency reveals Red Hot growth plans as it merges with rival

One of the north east of England’s higher profile estate agencies has restructured and merged with a rival ahead of what it claims to be ambitious growth plans.

Red Hot Property in Hexham has merged with the Castledene Group, which has 10 offices and a rental portfolio in excess of 2,000 properties.

Red Hot Property proprietor Gareth Jones has told Insider News: “We are proud to have established a market leading firm with proven credentials, huge client focus and strong brand recognition. Our continued growth and industry recognition for our achievements has naturally drawn interest from other firms and, following lengthy discussions, we have agreed to join forces the highly regarded Castledene Group.”

Castledene chairman John Paul is a board member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents; he and Matt Holbrook of Castledene will now run the newly-established Red Hot Property Group Ltd.

Red Hot’s founder, Gareth Jones, will take on a consultancy role and the existing staff and offices will remain in place.

“The synergies between Red Hot Property and the Castledene Group were obvious to us from the start. We have a very strong rental background and Red Hot Property is a proven expert in sales” says John Paul.

“By combining these strengths, we have enabled a very robust platform for future growth and we have enhanced the service we can extend to our valued clients.”
