Online agency Upad has made another change to its charging structure.
It has recently introduced revised packages for landlords, payment via Direct Debit and an alternative deposit system. Now it’s going to charge its £449 core fee only when the tenant has signed a contract.
Founder and chief executive James Davis says: “When we launched UPay On Success a year ago, we did so to provide a comprehensive package that supported less experienced landlords who required a suite of products that included everything from a Rightmove Premium Listing, through to professional photography and compliance-proof paperwork.

Why does a landlord DIY lettings service gain valuable exposure on a site relating to letting Agents! Whilst I am the first to appreciate a bit of free publicity James Davis of Upad should advertise his business elsewhere, shame on you Lettings Agent today
