New revenue stream for agents pledged by PropTech utilities site

A new utilities management platform for tenants says it will generate additional revenue streams for letting agents.

Love Resident gives tenants online access via smartphones to their property’s core utilities providers, detailing meter readings and confirming local authority notification for council tax.

It also claims exclusive off-market deals via partners dealing with broadband, satellite TV, removals and home insurance.

“It was critical to us that the service could be delivered without requiring any additional effort from agents, such as extra paperwork; it is a seamless process. Agent clients of Helpthemove who also utilise the Love Resident platform will have a genuine point of difference in the market as well as generating additional revenue which will help counter the impact of the tenant fee ban” according to Stephen Henesy, founder of Helpthemove.

“Our core business of switching utilities providers in void rental properties is already delivering new revenue streams for agents whilst also dramatically reducing their time-consuming and costly administrative tasks. The next logical step was to launch Love Resident which helps agents seamlessly on-board new tenants by providing key information about their suppliers directly to their mobile devices.”
