Ad claimed flat was a minute from London Bridge when it was 10 minutes

The Advertising Standards Authority has stepped in following a complaint about an advertisement which claimed a flat was just a one minute walk from London Bridge.

In reality the apartment, a new build from Galliard Homes - a developer particularly popular with buy to let investment purchasers - was a 10 minute walk away.

A complaint was lodged with the ASA, suggesting the one minute claims was misleading.

“The advertiser corrected the ad to state that London Bridge is a one minute tube ride away” an ASA spokesman has told Estate Agent Tofday.

On that basis, the complaint was classified as informally resolved.
