Regional agency scraps traditional offices in move to ‘hub’ concept

A leading lettings and sales agency in West Sussex is launching a hub-style structure centralising branch activities in a town centre.

Michael Jones & Company says the hub in Worthing town centre will result in a much more customer-focused and service-oriented operation, as well as the creation of new jobs in the local area.

The hub will host a team of over 40 directors, managers, negotiators and admin, working in an open-plan office across three storeys.

Residential lettings and sales, commercial property management, new homes, marketing and sales support will all be centralised at the hub.

The company says it wants to reinvest in the business, especially around technology, which will in turn help staff offer higher levels of service and standards and be more accessible to the customer.

Managing director Mike Jones says: “Moving with the times is essential in any business, but it’s important to do it for the right reasons. Our team is full of hugely experienced, skilled staff whose knowledge and expertise we always strive to utilise in the best way possible, so that we can really help our customers.

“This move will allow us to provide our customers the correctly experienced team member for the individual customer’s needs, essentially matching the tasks and bespoke requirements to where our experience lies, which will result in quality engagement and our customers receiving the best service possible. We’re very excited about this move and it also presents new opportunities within the business in supporting several team members in furthering their careers.”
