A lettings agent has completed a £2.6million property acquisition plan in one city on behalf of investors, and will go on to manage the portfolio.

Student Housing, which specialises in university accommodation in Nottingham and nearby locations, purchased a total of 11 properties.

The acquisition fund was raised in June last year when Student Housing invited potential investors from across the UK to Nottingham; other properties acquired in the portfolio include a block of six studio apartments, some five bedroom HMOs, two-bedroom flats and studios.

Harry Conti and his business partner Marcus Askam Yates started Student Housing in Lincoln in 2015.

They left the University of Lincoln before the end of their degree courses to start the business after becoming frustrated with the low-quality accommodation that was on offer to students.

The business has grown quickly and now employs 15 people, who let and manage over 600 properties to more than 1,500 students.
