Coronavirus: trade group tries to reassure agents

Todays other news

The Association of Independent Inventory Clerks has issued guidance to members about how to reassure its lettings agent and landlord clients over the Coronavirus threat while staying safe themselves as the outbreak develops.

The group has 1,400 members and its advice to them is to:

– use gloves when touching surfaces, handles and keys where possible;

– carry soap or hand sanitiser and use between visits;

– stay six feet away from clients if possible;

– remain at home if any symptoms develop, and specifically if a person develops a cough, a high temperature or shortness of breath.
