There’s no escaping team activity at epropservices – and in a good way.

The company, which is the parent firm of The Guild of Property Professionals and Fine & Country, has an active Head of Employee Engagement and Development – Jennifer Scott-Reid – who sounds the perfect person to keep the spirits flying high.

She sends all staff a weekly video podcast on wellbeing and personal development topics, such as self-esteem, understanding anxiety, mindfulness, resilience, confidence and emotional intelligence. And she stages a weekly webinar to discuss each topic further.

We’re told: “She personally keeps in touch with everyone, and involves everyone (furloughed or not) in what’s going on in the business and also how they would like to work going forward – what’s working and what’s not – collecting ideas for a new era and way of working. Jennifer is also in the process of organising a positive appreciation activity for everyone.”

On top of that Lucie Heanley, investor relations manager and PA to the group chief executive, sends out tips for helping with working remotely, working with children at home or just surviving social isolation with the entire family in the house at all times.

There’s also a weekly virtual coffee morning on a Friday and different teams have drinks together after office hours; electronic birthday cards and other cards go to team members to celebrate big milestones or achievements.

Each team has at least a daily Teams meeting in the morning and evening, while the CEO provides all staff with a weekly company update.

“Our marketing and PR team are excellent at keeping everyone informed on social media, the press and hubs of the company’s innovations, guidance and leading thoughts on the future and how to prepare, and ways of helping the industry, which also keeps all staff informed of what’s going on too” says epropservices.

Lockdown? Frankly, we’re exhausted at reading how much everyone is doing… fantastic work.

** Estate Agent Today and Letting Agent Today are this Bank Holiday weekend running stories about how the industry is coping with lockdown, seven weeks on. Normal news stories resume on Monday but for the moment, please check both sites to see how different agencies and suppliers are keeping up morale. **
