Ten estate agencies have signed up to a partnership programme with the easyStorage company, which allows lettings and sales firms to offer clients a discount on storage.
As the government begins to tighten lockdown restrictions in parts of the country, some agents say some clients remain uncertain about moving plans.
easyStorage is giving membership agency customers a £25 discount, equivalent of up to two weeks storage, while the agents themselves are awarded a £100 commission.
Tim Slesinger, chief executive and co-founder of easyStorage, says: “We’re pleased to offer this incentive to agents at a time when they have been inundated with clients … and there is an increased need to move quickly. We are able to offer a no-frills solution that provides an efficient method of storing in a safe and trusted location, without the customer needing to lift a finger.”
