A new PropTech tool called Lettings Intelligence is being launched this week with the claim that it is “revolutionising the way that lettings agents access and process data.”

The tool, from Sprift, collects data from sources including local authorities, TV and broadband providers, the Office for National Statistics and HM Land Registry.

With that information it claims to be able to provide agents with pricing info, property-type demand trends, and agents’ market share. It also provides licensing information, gas safety certificates and tenancy agreements.

This information can be customised and white labelled as Key Facts for Landlords or Key Facts for Tenants.

There is also a separate URL for landlords on which they can upload all properties in their portfolios. Market intelligence and property information will be updated in real-time, so a portfolio of properties can be managed in one place.

Matt Gilpin, CEO at Sprift, comments: “Lettings data and licensing information can be extremely difficult and time consuming to access. The provision of market data, together with the relevant documentation required to let a property, saves the agents a huge amount of time and hassle. It’s also beneficial to landlords, who have all the information they need at their fingertips, so it’s a win-win for everyone.”
