Rebrand for plucky family agency fighting back against Coronavirus

A family-run agency that describes itself as “plucky” has rebranded and moved to larger premises in one of the UK’s most competitive lettings locations.

At Home In Edinburgh says the initiatives are bold steps to beat the challenges of the Coronavirus pandemic: during the lockdown short term lettings fell away in the city, adding to stock on the lettings market.

Rick McCann, who manages the agency with his wife Vicky, says: “Business as we knew it completely changed, and we knew we had to take major action to ensure our business remained a success. However, having to take such a hard look at how we did things actually turned into a positive for us.

“It made us realise how far we’ve evolved since first opening our doors back in 2011, and we realised that what people saw no longer reflected who we are as a business. We understood that we needed better to communicate who we are as a brand in order to remain competitive in the private rental market.”

The company is now promoting its new brand at the recently-opened new office, across social media channels and through a series of client guides. The company’s new website will be launched at the end of the year.

“We’re proud of our business, our ethos and our consistent five-star reviews, and we believe we can now stand out in Edinburgh’s busy rental property sector with our new, stronger visual identity” says Vicky McCann.
