Zoopla wins back agency chain after five year absence

Todays other news

One of the most prominent south coast lettings and sales agencies is returning to Zoopla after a five year absence.

Mishon Mackay, prominent in Bright and across Sussex, has agreed to re-list properties from its seven branches on the portal.

Steve Neocleous, business development director at Mishon Mackay, says: “We are delighted to be working with Zoopla again to extend the reach that we can offer across Brighton, Hove and Mid Sussex. This means that we offer our clients the widest possible exposure to the market and it complements our already very proactive approach. We think that the link up with Zoopla is a good fit for us here at Mishon Mackay.”

The return of the seven branches follows news earlier this month that Zoopla has seen a three per cent growth in customer numbers year on year.

This in turn follows what the portal calls its “£30m investment in agent partners” by way of free portal usage following the introduction of lockdown and the subsequent closure of the property market earlier this year.

“The team at Mishon Mackay are known throughout Sussex for their customer-centric approach and with sales, lettings and new homes in their portfolio, the agency offers a true full service experience to homeowners” explains Zoopla chief commercial officer Andy Marshall.

“After five years away from Zoopla they’ve now returned, recognising our efforts to drive more leads and offer even better value to our agent partners.”
