The Deposit Protection Service is running three free online deposit dispute webinars, with the first scheduled for next week.
The UK’s largest protector of deposits says its summer season of these seminars offered safe learning opportunities for agents and landlords during the Coronavirus - and their popularity means they are now being repeated.
Each hour-long webinar will be hosted by a trained adjudicator and covers a different topic.
The first, on Thursday November 19, looks at the evidence needed for a dispute, how to best gather and prepare it, as well as the principles which adjudicators use to reach a conclusion.
The second, on Thursday December 3, examines common errors landlords make that can affect a dispute outcome.
And finally on Thursday December 17 the webinar looks at the key role evidence plays in adjudication results.
Matt Trevett, managing director of The DPS, says: “Disputes can be demanding experiences, and our popular online webinars will provide practical information to help landlords and letting agents better understand the issues and prepare in a way that ensures an efficient and fair process.”
