Many agents will be closed on New Year’s Day – the last Bank Holiday for some months and at the start of what may be another challenging year.

We can hope for better things in 2021 but the short-term prospects for Coronavirus and lockdowns appear bleak; worse still, perhaps, the attacks on the lettings industry appear set to continue.

Eviction bans may well continue as part of the Covid restrictions, and we’re likely to see continuing political campaigning against the private rental sector by both government and opposition parties, as well as by unelected pressure groups.

Whatever happens in the next 12 months, Letting Agent Today will be a constant source of news and information for you.

In the meantime, have a Happy New Year from the LAT editorial team and everyone at Angels Media.

We return as normal from Monday January 4.
