London agency acquires third independent in under 12 months

Samuel Estates, a south west London agency, has acquired its third independent local firm in 2020.

The latest to be snapped up is Keyhold Property Management of Dulwich Village; earlier this year Red Property Services and Daniel James were acquired.

Samuel Estates - which is itself an independent - opened its first office in Colliers Wood in 2006. Since then it’s expanded with branches in Balham and Streatham and has a team of over 20.

Over 1,000 landlords use the firm which has a portfolio covering mostly London and North Surrey.

“Increasing stock has been imperative for us to grow our teams, company presence and to improve our services. Although this year hasn’t been without its challenges, we’ve pushed forth with our growth plans, it goes to show that we are confident in our approach for success” says managing director Nick Samuel.

“Working with many Non-resident Landlords across the world, it’s crucial that we can provide a service for our international clients, one that leverages our local expertise to provide sound advice and strategy surrounding their property assets” comments Samuel.

“Acquiring other estate agencies isn’t just about stock and growth, we’ve been fortunate enough to grow our team and bring new talent into the business through these acquisitions growing both our service offering and keeping a familiar face within the business for our new clients” adds operations director Paul Ahearn.

The agency also recently launched its Search and Acquisition service for portfolio landlords looking to increase their portfolios in and around London.

The firm says it welcomes enquiries from prospective independent agencies in south west and central London thinking about selling in the new year.
