Two estate agencies in the same city have merged - but it means one long-standing agency’s name will disappear.
The Leicester firm Mount & Minster has bought out Colonia and both companies will now merge their staff into a larger team at Mount & Minster’s offices.
Local press reports in the city say the majority of staff from Colonia have stayed on.
Colonia is 15 years old and Mount & Minster was set up in 2015.
Ralph Wyrley-Birch, a managing partner at Mount & Minster, is quoted in the local media as saying: “This has come at an excellent time as we continue to develop and become one of the largest and fastest-growing real estate companies in the East Midlands.”
