Birmingham agent Bobby Singh, who runs the Love Your Postcode agency, epitomises the heart of the industry right now.
He has created a property group on social media encouraging his landlord clients and others to open their homes for NHS staff and frontline healthcare professionals during the pandemic.
Bobby says: “The accommodation will be provided for free with a small contribution only where required to help cover weekly cleaning, fresh linens and utilities.”
On his website NHS or healthcare professional who need a place to stay select the “I need a home I’m frontline” option and Bobby’s team emails back a questionnaire to complete, provide you with a list of free accommodation providers.
“There is no cost to this. It is completely free of charge” he adds.
And he also asks property owners that if they have a house, an apartment or even a block, his firm can prepare them and provide them to NHS staff without a fee.
